Senior Laboratory Technician
Servite College is seeking an innovative, suitably qualified, and experienced Senior Laboratory Technician to join the Science Department in a full-time or part-time (minimum of 0.8 FTE) capacity.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the efficient and safe running of the science labs within the College. They will play a support and facility maintenance role in relation to the Science Learning Area. They will be responsible for the preparation and delivery of materials, stock and standard solutions, specimens and apparatus required for practical work and classroom demonstrations. They will work as an integral team member of the Science Department, and work alongside a Laboratory Technician.
Selection Criteria includes but is not limited to; demonstrated experience working within a science laboratory, including knowledge of laboratory techniques and relevant safety and legislative requirements within a school laboratory setting and a Certificate IV in Laboratory Techniques or relevant qualification.
